Anyone know if they have a US press fleet? I’d fight a pack of angry coyotes for a ride on one of these things.
I always find these Vyrus bikes interesting.

Gentlemen… testosterone makes you think you have motorcycle skills in your DNA. You don’t.

This was originally tagged as “vintage.” $20 to the first person that can pick out one thing in that photo that wasn’t produced in the last two years. All I see is a ridiculous outfit and lots of cheap, plastic crap.

Anonymous asked: So do you think that every girl on a motorcycle is a squid?
You got me. I’m a sexist asshole that hates women that ride. Blame it on a small penis and feelings of inferiority, but just the sight of a woman on a motorcycle makes my blood boil. That’s why I wrote this story about teaching a girl to ride motorcycles. And also why I’m such good friends with MotoLady and so many other female riders.
Wear appropriate protective gear and you’ll never have to fear the #squid tag.

The only guy I know with the initials RR rides a bike that’s so utterly devoid of lame RR type tribal graphics and the typical sportsbike things that it’s almost funny. Here’s a sneak peak at Ruben’s 1198S. Yes, I know there’s bugs caked on the fairing and headlight. That’s because Ruben rides this bike almost every day.

Learning to be a squid. Once she gets her license, she’ll sell the 250 and get a literbike.
This is how real girls ride!!

After picking up the Hammarhead Jack Pine last Friday from an unnamed motorcycle magazine, we decided that it would be a grand idea to take it up to old dirt Mulholland for some sideways action and photo-shoot. Wes wasn’t feeling up to it, and I was wearing gear deemed inappropriate for HFL, so I put on his Vanson and AX-8, and did my best ‘Wes Siler Stunt Double.’
The shoot went great and he got a killer shot of me sliding, foot-down out of a corner on the bike. I was all set to write a review and tell the world how truly awesome it is when I was told that said magazine had apparently called dibs like a middle-school kid on the playground. Really, I can’t blame them. The same mag tried this crap with Alonzo Bodden’s 1098 too, but we ran it anyway. Behold, the power of the internet and young people that know how to use technology. We have a lead time of less than 24 hours, while it’s not at all uncommon for them to take 3+ months to print a no-value-added press release. We let them have this one, but they’re still screwed in the long run. They also seem to have forgotten that they’re nearly a year behind us; we reviewed the Jack Pine for the first time way back in June of 2010.
Anyway, Wes didn’t use my slide shot in his story so here it is. Enjoy.
