I took it easy on New Year’s Eve. Ashlee decided that out of the ingredients we had lying around, this breakfast taco plate was the best way to put them together. Delicious. After food, I finished my jacket experiment. I think it needs to be gone over again in a few places, but overall I’m pretty happy with it. I used this stuff. If you decide it’s a good idea to try this, here’s what you need to know: First, make sure you have enough stuff. I bought one can and it was almost enough. I need to do some touch-up work to even things out. After you have your stuff, heat it up. I put it in a small saucepan filled with water. It left a pretty nasty rust ring on the bottom of the pan. Consider yourself warned. Use a paint brush to apply the liquid wax, and do your best to work it into the fabric. After a few it begins to soak in, hit it with a hair dryer and continue to use the paint brush. Don’t worry about overdoing it; a rag used in conjunction with the hairdryer pulls excess right off.
